Our journey began in 1983 right here in Great Falls, Montana. What started as a small operation has grown into a well-respected asphalt maintenance company serving commercial, residential, local government, and federal clients across the state.

Originally, J & L’s Maintenance and A-1 Allstate Sealers were two separate businesses, both specializing in asphalt services. Our parents purchased A-1 Allstate Sealers from their former business partners, successfully running it for years before acquiring J & L’s Maintenance. Seeing the overlap between the two businesses, they decided to combine them while maintaining both names to honor our long-time clientele. Many customers still recognize A-1 Allstate Sealers, and we continue to provide the same high level of service under both names. For many years, J & L’s Maintenance | A-1 Allstate Sealers was a woman-owned business certified by the SBA, and we are currently in the process of reestablishing that certification. We believe in the strength of small, family-run businesses and the value they bring to the community.
